Domestic Fuseboard Upgrades
Old fuseboxes can struggle to cope with modern electrical demands. We only carry out an upgrade using either RCBO’s (residual current breaker with over current protection) or AFDD’s (arc fault detection devices). Both have their place in the modern home. We don’t specify dual RCD boards as, although cheaper they can create problems later because a problem in one circuit switches off other circuits.

- Yes. We are registered with the NICEIC, members of the ECA, Which? Trusted Traders and fully insured. Notifiable work is registered under Part P and you get the certificate.
- How often should my electrics be tested?
- Rented homes need an electrical safety report every five years. For your own home, at least every 10 years, and when buying or selling your home. Businesses usually every five years.
